CLERK OF COURT CANDIDATE EMMA JONES TO PARTICIPATE IN LICENSE REINSTATEMENT CLINIC
ON FRIDAY, JULY, 26, 2019 AT THE DELAWARE MUNICIPAL COURT
Delaware, Ohio – Emma Jones, a licensed attorney and Candidate for the Office of Delaware Municipal Clerk of Court, will participate as a volunteer attorney in the License Reinstatement Clinic to be held at the Delaware Municipal Court. Ms. Jones will join other volunteer attorneys who will be on hand to provide advice to individuals and to assist clients in simple municipal court appearances. Ms. Jones is a self-employed, public defender (court-appointed attorney) in Delaware and Franklin Counties and ordinarily works with indigent clients in Delaware Municipal Court.
“I have represented so many thoughtful and hard-working people over the years that really struggled to stay on track when their licenses were suspended,” said Attorney Emma Jones. “It’s really hard to get to work on time and back around Delaware County without a valid driver’s license and reliable car. I'll be doing what I love to do most – helping my neighbors and friends regain control over a little part of their lives. I truly hope this clinic is a huge success.”
